Fort Worth Texas how I love thee

Just Kickers was postponed due to the inclement weather but my trip was still a go. This trip was like no other as there wasn't a itinerary to adhere to. Just enjoy life and take it all in, which I did justice. Sitting on a wrap around porch watching life go by wasn't half bad. Add a frosty beverage or 20 and life can't get any better. Jim and Gwen Harper, co owners of Chopper Supply Co., were my gracious hosts for the weekend. I'm very fortunate we crossed paths as they are great people!

Jim and I spent a couple of hours with Chop Cult contributor and personal friend, Jason Ochoa. He's working on completing his build for Born-Free. It's cool to seen Jason move forward in the industry and he's been the driving force to get CC in Texas. To say I appreciate him is an understatement.

Important information for anyone planning on attending Just Kickers

"Due to the recent rainfall, the Ardmore Dragway is flooded, and it doesn't look like it will be dry enough for Just Kickers. We want you all to have a good time so we have decided to postpone Just Kickers to early October of 2015. As soon as we have a date we will let you know. Help us spread the word. Thanks, Kirk." http://justkickers.blogspot.com/

Just Kickers - April 24 - 27, 2014

I love when you bust your ass and succeed in life!

Kirk Sharp had a vision and stuck with his original plan. Create a gathering that people will enjoy and want to come back to year after year. I started working with Kirk in 2011 and am proud to announce we are celebrating our third Just Kickers! It's kind of funny if you think about it, I'm here in California and he's in Texas but together we get it done. Scott from Chemical Candy has become more involved and we are all moving forward to make the gathering one hell of a good ol' time!

Help us spread the word and give Kirk a follow on Facebook and Instagram

A visit from Kirk Sharp ~ Just Kickers

I am lucky to cross paths with Kirk Sharp, he is the man behind Just Kickers. It's a motorcycle gathering not RALLY.

On Thursday, two days before Born Free 5, I seen through Instagram that he was broke down in Lake Elsinore. Mind you it was a frosty 105 outside in the shade. We offered up the house for some much needed AC. Kirk had made the trip from Texas with his buddies Jim, Susan, Sarah and Emily. These bad asses rode in some insane heat but only had a few small issues on the way.

Duane and I met Jim and Kirk for dinner, it was nice to finally spend some quality time with them. You see I help promote Just Kickers but haven't had the opportunity to go because to our busy schedule here. I hope I can sit by the fire in Kirk's neck of the woods one day soon!

Be sure to check out Kirk's blog for photos on his trip.

(Another happy thought for me is that Kirk is posting on his blog. When I first met him, blogging seemed foreign to him. Look at him go now, another Shiny Side Marketing graduate!)

Just Kickers Video

By the looks of this video, Just Kickers was a hit.

My so called life

Last week was probably the busiest I have ever been since stepping into the motorcycle industry arena. I've longed for the day that everything I do would finally come together and start paying off.

Chop Cult's numbers are looking good and I've secured a few advertisers. If you would like to advertise or have your bike featured  email me so we can get the ball rolling.

Check out Dave's bike in The Horse Magazine. I'm really happy for him and love the photo layout!

The 5th Hippy Killer Hoedown is coming together nicely and I can't wait to see the Supersuckers perform. Kutty has been promoting each sponsors on his blog and we appreciate their ongoing support!

I'm stoked for Kirk and BJ and like where Just Kickers is heading. It seems like this years attendance might double, which is a testament to our year long devotion for this event. I love when an event takes off and gets the attention it deserves.

I would like to thank you for supporting the events and brands I have been promoting. Without your support, we are just another face in the crowd.

Just Kickers April 25 - 28

As an event promoter, it's great to watch a event grow year after year. The endless planning, phone calls, emails, building the social media platforms and branding for the first year helps sets the tone for years to come. From our first meeting, Kirk and BJ were very admit about Just Kickers being a stress free event for like-minded folks who enjoy motorcycles. No vendors, golf carts, RV's or 4 wheelers are allowed on the property, you must ride in. Oh and leave your glass bottles at home, they're not allowed in either

A small part of my involvement is securing sponsorship for the sole purpose of getting products to give out as prizes to our guests. We appreciate each and every sponsor and their ongoing support. This event is not about the money, it's about the enjoyment of riding and having a good time. I am very proud of Kirk and BJ's personal growth, they didn't know the ins and outs of event promotion but have caught on very quickly. This year they have enlisted the help of local painter Scott Hoepker of Chemical Candy Paint. Scott has brought in local sponsorship and is an instrumental part of the Just Kickers team. We are celebrating our second Just Kickers on April 25-28 at the Washita Hideaway and hope you can join in.

Lucky 7 Cycles will be hosting the Pre-Party on April 20 starting at 5. They are located at 1802 N Haskell Ave, Dallas, TX 75204

Thanks for the ongoing support and for all things Just Kickers go HERE
